1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Folvr (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who submits data to Folvr.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Folvr only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated financial data.
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access non-public systems or code.
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Platform or its data.
• Use the Platform in any way that could harm Folvr, its users, or third parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

3. Submitted Data

When you submit data to Folvr (salaries, savings rates, credit outcomes, mortgage rates, insurance costs, or student loan details), you grant Folvr a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, store, aggregate, and display that data in anonymized, aggregated form.

Your submissions are anonymous. Individual records are never displayed publicly in a way that could identify you. All submitted data is aggregated before being shown. Once submitted, data becomes part of the Folvr dataset and cannot be attributed back to any individual contributor.

By submitting data, you represent that the data is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your submissions.

4. Intellectual Property

The Folvr name, logo, design, and all original content on the Platform are the intellectual property of Folvr and its operators. The aggregated datasets compiled from user submissions and BLS data are proprietary to Folvr.

BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) data used on the Platform is in the public domain. You may reference individual data points for personal or educational use with attribution, but you may not reproduce or republish Folvr’s compiled datasets, UI, or editorial content without written permission.

5. Disclaimers

Not financial advice. All data on Folvr is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or professional advice of any kind. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions.

No accuracy guarantee. Folvr’s data is crowdsourced and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. BLS data reflects official government estimates that may not reflect your specific local market or situation. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness of any data for a particular purpose.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Folvr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed $100 USD.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
